East Neuk wins at Loo of the Year Awards

Fife Coast and Countryside Trust has won the UK trophy for Public Toilets at the Loo of the Year awards in Birmingham. They also won the UK market sector award for beaches, and Scottish awards for the car parks loos at Elie Harbour, and their eco friendly toilets at Craigmead. in the Lomond Hills). The ‘Washroom Cleaner of the Year’ went to the trust’s in-house cleaning team. FCCT manages 15 public toilets on behalf of Fife Council, and is obviously very pleased with its achievements, but the Trust is not resting on its laurels - “This is our 11th Loo of the Year Awards, but we won’t sit back and relax. We’re always working to improve public toilet provision in Fife and look forward to opening a new toilet block at Elie Ruby Bay in time for Spring”, said head of operations, Robbie Blyth.
